El spinoff de Gal*Gun inspirado en Castlevania llamado originalmente Grim Guardians: Demon Purge ya está disponible digitalmente y ha sido revisado por varios medios, pero se avecina un cambio importante. Inti Creates anunció que el título se cambiará a Gal Guardians: Demon Purge en algunas regiones debido a una queja de los propietarios de la marca registrada Grimguard, y el cambio se implementará en todas las plataformas en las próximas semanas.
