El primer juego de Metroid debutó en la Famicon Disk System de Nintendo el 6 de Agosto de 1986, seguido por su lanzamiento en Occidente en la NES en 1987. Ahora que la serie celebra oficialmente su 35º Aniversario, Nintendo nos trae un nuevo avance del más reciente juego de la saga, Metroid Dread.
