El primer gran anuncio relacionado con anime fue la adquisición de la película Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. La película debía estrenarse en Japón el mes pasado, pero el Estado de Emergencia volvió a retrasar su estreno. Ahora llegará a Netflix el 1 de Julio, de acuerdo al tráiler en el canal de YouTube de Netflix Anime.

El reboot de Shaman King finalmente se estrenará globalmente el 9 de Agosto, luego de debutar exclusivamente en Japón y algunos territorios internacionales durante la temporada de primavera en Abril.

La adaptación al anime de Edens Zero, obra de Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail), llegará a Netflix el 26 de Agosto, mucho antes de la fecha inicial de estreno, que se había fijado para Otoño de 2021.

El segundo anime original que se ha anunciado es una película titulada Make My Day. Por los momentos no hay más detalles de este proyecto.
